Warwickshire pilot appears in court over wife's murder


A pilot accused of murdering his wife has appeared in court.Andrew McIntosh was arrested on 15 November after Patricia, 56, was found with head injuries at their Warwickshire home.Officers were called to the house in Knightcote at 21:15 GMT before McIntosh was arrested in Rugby at 21:47 GMT when his car was stopped by police.McIntosh, of Woolscott, Warwickshire, appeared at Warwickshire Justice Centre via video link from HMP Hewell earlier.Judge Andrew Lockhart QC remanded him into custody until a plea hearing on 19 January.
